    Toyota India car sales dip 22% in November

    Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported a 22 per cent annual decline in November from 10,721 units last year. Exports, especially the Etios model, however, grew 39 per cent annually. As a result, total sales for the month under review declined 19 per cent year-on-year to 9,241 units from 11,390 units in November 2018.

    • Suzuki Motorcycle sales up 23.29% at 69,755 units in November

      Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) on Monday reported 23.39 per cent increase in total sales at 69,755 units in November. The company had sold 56,531 units sold in November last year, SMIPL said in a statement. Domestic sales during the month stood at 60,855 units as compared to 53,058 units sold in November 2018, a growth of 14.69 per cent.

      NMDC Ltd reports a modest 3.36% increase in iron ore sales

      NMDC also posted a marginal rise in iron ore production to 18.89 million tonne between April -November 2019 as against a production of 18.75 mt upto November 2018. While NMDC’s Chhattisgarh mines accounted for a production volume of 13.33 mt (against 12.24 mt last year), its Karnataka mines contributed 5.45 mt in April-November 2019.

      Bajaj Auto sales marginally down to 4.03 lakh units in November

      The company had sold 4,06,930 units in the same month a year-ago. Domestic sales in November this year were at 2,07,775 units as against 2,34,818 units, showing a decline of 11.5 per cent, Bajaj Auto said in a filing to BSE. Total motorcycle sales stood at 3,43,446 units, a marginal decline of 0.8 per cent, as compared to 3,46,544 units sold in November last year.

      Ashok Leyland sales down 22 per cent in November to 10,175 units

      The company had sold 13,119 units in the same month last year, Ashok Leyland said in a statement. Domestic commercial vehicle sales were down 25% at 9,377 units as against 12,570 units in the year-ago month, it added. Medium and heavy commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market were down 36% to 5,321 units as compared to 8,260 units in November last year.

      Escorts agri-machinery sales drop by 4.5 per cent in November

      Domestic tractor sales in Nov 2019, dropped to 7,379 units against 7,641 units a year-ago, the filing said. Exports for the month of Nov 2019, also declined to 263 units against 364 tractors in Nov 2018. Escorts Ltd has diversified business in three different segments comprising — Escorts Agri Machinery, Escorts Construction Equipment and Railway Equipment Division, it added.

      Tata Motors total sales down 25% at 41,124 units in November

      Total domestic sales were down 25 per cent at 38,057 units as compared to 50,470 units in November last year, it added. Passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market during the month stood at 10,400 units as against 16,982 units in the same month previous year, down 39 per cent.

      Hyundai Motor sales up 7 per cent in November

      Domestic sales were up 2 per cent at 44,600 units as against 43,709 units in November 2018, the company added. Exports stood at 15,900 units in the last month, up 25.2 per cent from 12,702 units in November 2018.

      Mahindra total sales down 9% at 41,235 units in November

      The company had sold 45,101 units in the corresponding month last year, M&M said in a regulatory filing. In the domestic market, sales were down 7 per cent at 38,614 units last month as compared to 41,564 units in November 2018.
